Pilatus has already operated the first engines of the PC-21 trainer aircraft for the Spanish Air Force.
Photographed on the Aircraft Stans website in Switzerland on December 2 by Stephan Widmer, the main aircraft has been painted and bears the Air Force registration E.27-01.
Madrid signed a € 204 million ($ 247 million) contract on January 30, 2020 for the acquisition of 24 turboprop engines, as well as simulators and support services. At that time, it was said that the first six planes would be delivered in 2020.
